How it works

Today is

.

Have you checked your
WeekDate
  today?

.

over and over and over?

We have listed hints and tips to better use your WeekDate products and help you stay organized.

Hide tickets
or receipts
behind the Annuals or Phones
cards!

Make an entry in your Monthlies to check your Annuals card for any upcoming birthdays and anniversaries.

The number one way to stay organized is to look at your calendar often. Morning, noon, night.

  •  Please note that WeekDate starts on Monday and finishes on the weekend. This is for ease when writing
weekend-long plans.

WeekDate Planner
  •  Tear off the perforated “month” tab at the end of each week. This allows you to easily find the current
week when you flip open your WeekDate.

  •  Pencil is recommended for Monthlies, Weeklies, and Set Days entries as they may occasionally change. Only write the current fixed monthly and weekly activities. If you have book club changing to Thursday instead of Tuesday starting in December, then go to the first Tuesday in December in the spiral-bound pages, and write
"Change book club from Thurs to Tues". This will remind you to make the change (only once) at the time the change is taking place.

  •  Some calendar makers give you different columns for each family member. WeekDate allows you to look in one spot for all your household activities. Just write your family members initial followed by their activity. For example, "L - Garden Club 7pm" or "D - Bball 6:30" does the trick!

  •  For bi-weekly events, write “even weeks” or “odd weeks” in the desired Weeklies square. Note: The week
numbers are provided at the far right of each spiral-bound week. Let's say you have a housekeeper who comes every two weeks on Wednesday mornings. She comes this week and it is week #6
according to the week numbers at the far right of each page. You simply write "House Cleaning- even weeks" in the Wednesday square of the Weeklies area below the spiral-bound pages.

  •  For bi-monthly events, write “even months” or “odd months” under your activity description in the desired Monthlies square.

  •
As you flip months, tuck the pages in each of the vinyl triangles on the front and back covers. This will keep
your pages sharp and crisp!
WeekDate Planner
  •  Divide your Annuals cards into months areas. You will have about nine lines per month for birthdays and anniversaries. So all January events are together then skip to the 10th line before writing the February birthdays.

  •  The triangle tab in the lower left corner of each page indicates what month you are in (after you’ve torn off
your monthly tabs) and it also allows you to quickly find a month. This triangle is black when the first day of the month falls in the current week. Some choose to take the time at the beginning of the year to cut off all the
non-black triangles, leaving the black ones sticking out to use as monthly tabs.

  •  Make it a habit to check your calendar every Sunday night or Monday morning to see what you have for that specific week. Let your eyes go up and down all the columns. Write in a weekly task in your WeekDate to remind yourself to do this "week ahead" planning.

  •  Weekly work tasks like "status reports" or weekly meetings easily apply to the Weeklies area.
WeekDate Planner
  •  "I place my latest favorite photo of my grand-daughter in the vinyl cover."

  •  Set days are also good for remembering to pay your bills on a certain date of the month, like the 15th, or even closer to the end of the month like the 23rd. Simply write "23-Pay Bills" in the Set Days area.
WeekDate Planner, WeekDate Hits The Wall
  •  Set days are great for remembering to give my pets their flea medication on the first of every month by writing "1 - Pet Med" in the Set Days area. If I miss it on the first and give them the medication on the third, I simply change the 1 to a 3 and remember on the third of the month from then on.
WeekDate Planner, WeekDate Hits The Wall
  •  "I wrote a montly note (the first Monday of every month) to check the upcoming birthdays for that month!"
WeekDate Planner, WeekDate Hits The Wall
  •  "I'm away at college so I wrote "Call Mom" on the Sunday weekly square so she'd actually hear from me. Even if I don't get her called until Monday, it's in my head since it's in my WeekDate".
